Falling for Fall

It has been so quiet here on The Well Styled Child blog!  I started my first year of full-time Homeschool with my daughter Holiday and it has been time consuming (though awesome) to say the least!  I decorated for fall about a month ago, but just last week, finally found REAL pumpkins and gourds at the grocery store to finally complete my look for this year!  Just wanted to share a little fall inspiration with everyone, since most normal people are just now getting around to decorating for fall!

Every season, the store shelves are flooded with new merchandise.  There will be an endless supply of cute stuff, I try to home in on what I absolutely LOVE.  If I really, REALLY love it then I ask myself where it's going to go.  If I can't think of where it will fit in, I generally won't get it.  Every now and then I see something so special that I know I'll make a place for it, but those items are few and far between.  If you know what your style is and you stick to what you love, over the years, you really start to have a beautiful, well-collected, layers of decor for each season.  Collecting over a period adds an element of enjoyment of being able to sit back in a beautiful space, look at each item and remember where it came from and the story behind it.
